Les organismes caritatifs neurologiques du Canada (OCNC) sont un regroupement d’organisations représentant les Canadiens et Canadiennes souffrant de maladies, troubles et lésions neurologiques et neuromusculaires chroniques et souvent progressifs (maladies du cerveau). Le rôle des OCNC en est un de leadership permettant l’évaluation et l’avancement de nouvelles occasions pour la défense de notre cause ainsi que des projets éducatifs et de recherche sur la santé du cerveau.

Are we intellectually lazy? Yes we are, but we do know when we take the easy way out, according to a new study by Wim De Neys and colleagues, from the CNRS in France. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved the Argus II Retinal Prosthesis System, the first implanted device to treat adult patients with advanced retinitis pigmentosa (RP).

A new study by Columbia Engineering researchers finds that the infant brain does not control its blood flow in the same way as the adult brain. The paper, which the scientists say could change the way researchers study brain development in infants and children, is published in the February 18 Early Online edition of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).
